Whidbey Island Language Art & STEM Center (WILASC) is the first integrated learning center on the island offering quality enrichment programs in languages, art, music, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) for children aged 4-16. Our programs are diverse in nature but guided by the same criteria: to nurture students’ intellectual curiosity, develop their critical thinking skills and a global mindset, and inspire their lifelong love of learning. We offe on-campus and off-campus afterschool and summer camp programs in South Whidbey, Langley, and Oak Harbor.

Spring 2025

*NEW* SPRING BREAK CAMP: Spring Break Art Bloom 🌷

Young artists will explore the beauty of the season through creative, 3D, and mixed-media projects designed to bring spring to life. This fun-filled camp is the perfect way for kids to welcome spring with creativity, imagination, and hands-on artmaking. Age 6-10.

*NEW* [YOGA] Joyful Yoga Adventures

In this one-hour weekly class, instructor Leah offers a fun and calming space where children practice age-appropriate yoga poses, engage in cooperative games, and connect with nature (weather permitting) to enhance their physical and emotional well-being.

*NEW* [SPANISH] Spanish Adventures (Beginner/Intermediate)

In this mixed-level Spanish class, students enhance their communication skills, vocabulary, and pronunciation through storytelling, games, hands-on projects, and immersive experiences, guided by a native Venezuelan instructor from the Waldorf School.

*NEW* [MUSIC] Music Makers with Drums and Boomwhackers

Our Music Makers class introduces students to music's foundational concepts through fun, hands-on activities with Boomwhackers and drums, fostering creativity, teamwork, and self-expression while developing rhythm, melody, and harmony skills.
