Who are WILASC's teachers?
Small island living calls for creative solutions to any human ersource endeavors. Our eclectic team of instructors include local talents from diverse backgrounds: local school teachers, artists, writers, musicians, engineers, a Navy officer, and college students. Our teachers are more than instructors — they are mentors, creators, and lifelong learners who bring their craft into the classroom. Their common trait? A passion for sharing their knowledge to educate and inspire local youth.

Whidbey Island Language Art & STEM Center (WILASC) is the first multidisciplinary learning center on the island offering quality enrichment programs in languages, art, music, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) for children aged 4-16. Our programs are diverse in nature but guided by the same criteria: to nurture students’ curiosity and creativity, develop their critical thinking skills and a global mindset, and inspire their lifelong love of learning. We offer on-campus and off-campus afterschool and summer camp programs in South Whidbey, Coupeville, and Oak Harbor.
